Kokutsu Dachi is a stance in Shotokan karate. It translates to 'Back Stance.' This stance involves stepping back with one leg while bending the front leg deeply, creating a long and low stance. Kokutsu Dachi is often used for evasive maneuvers and to create distance from an opponent in Shotokan karate.
