The advancing foot sweep, a foot technique (ashi waza). The sole sweeps uke's advancing foot away in the instant before their weight settles on it, while the hands turn their upper body in the same direction.
Timing is the whole technique. A fraction early or late it is a kick against a loaded leg; on the beat it costs nothing at all.
