Shuto Soto Uke

Shuto Soto Uke is a technique in Kyokushin karate. It translates to 'Knife-Hand Outside Block.' This technique involves executing a blocking motion with the knife hand to defend against attacks coming from the outside. The term 'Shuto' refers to the knife hand, 'Soto' indicates the outside, and 'Uke' refers to the block. It is commonly used to deflect strikes aimed at the midsection or torso from the opponent's outer side.
