The term 'Chudan' refers to the middle level, 'Haishu' indicates the backhand, and 'Uchi' refers to the striking motion. It is commonly used to disrupt the opponent's balance, create openings, or inflict damage to vulnerable areas such as the solar plexus or ribs.
